Among other responsibilities it will be responsible for regional an d functional divisional controller activities for GBS Financial Services an d Commercial Finance. As such this role will contribute to overall strategy an d manage complex issues with financial reporting an d acＣounting implications an d will ensure that the acＣounting procedures are robust as well as drive consistent an d effective acＣounting an d control procedures. You will report to the Senior Director Biopharma Group an d GBS Financial Services Controller （based in NYC）; however your role will be based in Dalian China. Responsible for coordinating the technical acＣounting an d accuracy of financial reporting with the Senior Director Biopharma an d GBS Financial Services Controller to bring the best of Controllers to activities an d markets business operations in Europe. Proactively provides timely guidance an d expertise on acＣounting issues guaranteeing compliance with US GAAP Pfizer AcＣounting Policies Corporate Policies an d local statutory requirements. Provide advice to senior management in recommending ways to streamline an d standardize an d harmonize operations. GBS Financial Services APAC an d Commercial Specifics: Serves as a first-line resource for GBS Financial Services Dalian an d Commercial Finance for interpretation of US GAAP Pfizer AcＣounting Policies an d Procedures an d other acＣounting-related questions an d acts as a resource to the Controllers LT in this capacity. Prepares Ｏr supports GBS Financial Services Dalian an d Commercial Finance in the review of memoranda on various acＣounting an d control issues to support internal processes as well as for external audit use. Partners participates with GBS Financial Services Commercial Finance in oversight of PL an d balance sheet analysis including metrics trends an d variances to multiple benchmarks （e.g. plan latest estimates （LE） prior periods （months quarters years） in compliance with U.S. GAAP Pfizer AcＣounting Policies an d Procedures. Assists in the preparation of any SAB 99 analysis required an d understands an d monitors remediation plans for identified errors during the close working in concert with other Controller divisions. Ensures appropriate documentation of acＣounting decisions made by the center. Supports in the assessment of asset impairment triggers. Provides guidance on revenue recognition topics including but not limited to new contract reviews gross-to-net acＣounting an d other Maintains Key AcＣounting Review items in conjunctions with GBS Financial Services an d finance Risk Opportunities an d leadsupports in escalation timely conclusions an d communication （to Senior Director DC GBS Financial Services an d Regional Commercial finance leads）.
